Your waitlist data is stored securely in Google Firebase / Firestore, a cloud database with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Firebase is operated by Google LLC and complies with SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
We apply strict Firestore security rules to ensure only Garbo's authorized backend can read or write your data. We do not expose your data publicly or share it with unauthorized parties.

Our landing page uses minimal cookies. Firebase Analytics may set cookies to distinguish unique visits. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking scripts beyond those listed above. You may block cookies via your browser settings; this will not affect your ability to join the waitlist.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Garbo is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.
We retain your waitlist information until either: (a) you request deletion, (b) Garbo launches and the waitlist period concludes, or (c) we determine the data is no longer needed. At that point, we will securely delete your personal information from our systems.
In the unlikely event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users by email within a reasonable time as required by applicable law, including the New Jersey Identity Theft Prevention Act. We will describe what data was affected and what steps we are taking to address the breach.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes that affect your rights, we'll notify waitlist members by email. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
